Looks like Mayne Thiele`s ability to paint rust effects is developing. This Lt. Allister Caine is definietely worth looking. Jakob has posted new wip pics on his GD entry. It`s great to see each step of painting on such nicely converted Adeptus Custode Guard.

New Stuff at JesterSpeed

Six new miniatures updated on my site, including Prince Tyrion from GW, and five recent Reaper Miniatures releases. I've also added a WIP page for stuff that will eventually see production/painting from Jesterspeed Studios. Also for all those curious as to where I get my sculpting ideas, I've added an Artwork page with my own warped creations for my sculpting... Very Happy

Well, once you get far enough behind, the only thing to do is cut the ties to the anchor and push on! That being said, HUGE thanks to CJ, Aku-Djin, Zaphod, and especially Prezmus for tossing some submissions into the Ocean.

Joe Videki at Joe Videki has posted a line up of WiP. Blue chicks and everything.

Rune Kaple at kaple.dk has posted a kick ass Sir Broderick - Justicar.

James Kennard and Owen at LovableLobsterProductions.com have slowed slightly, but they both have lots of pics up on their large projects. James' Defiler project looks killer!

I don't know if I have mentioned the site yet, but Ramon Laan at Putty-n-paint is putting up a nice looking site.

Craig at Slapping Paint has posted some WiP stuff. The Chaos Santa is especially looking cool IMO. It is also nice to see someone else works on a bunch of minis at once.

Tom Weiss at TWfigurineshas an overhaul of some of the galleries, and has posted new pics.

My "New for Me" site is RokTopsPaintShop.net. Gerry Hodgson is a killer painter up in Canada, and his site is really coming along nicely. Great pics in the gallery. (Let's face it they have nothing to do up there). Best of luck Gerry, now go put somethihg in the Tips section!!!

FALLCON 17 in Calgary!!!! TAMP will be there!

Well this weekend marks the annual Fallcon Convention held in Calgary, Alberta. For the first time, we (TAMP) have been invited out to hold various contests, put on demos, and generally have a blast painting and showing our stuff!

All of the miniatures for the Paint and take and other events as well as the awesome prizes, have been donated by Hasslefree Miniatures and Iron Wind Metals!

Jakob Nielsen`s UK GD entry, Sacred Blade, Hasslefree ... OMG

Jakob Nielsen has shown a wip pic of the mini he is planning to enter on UK GD competetition. Looks like he wants to take the prize again with this Adeptus Custode Guard. On the other hand the competition looks to be very difficult this year - some french and german painters announced that they`re planing to come to UK this year Smile

. Some new models from Hasslefree are now ready for pre-order. Love the poledancer and gymnast Wink

Games Day Chicago VIDEO

Well, after several attempts, the video coverage CJ Cummings from RagingGaijin.com made from Games Day Chicago 2004 is now up. It is in 2 formats, the latest greatest Quicktime Streaming file, and a smaller Real Video file. Leave us a comment on your experience, good or bad. We will be tweaking and expanding our ability to do video in the future. (near future).

Strategicon 2004

OK, Strategicon is a small con, and as a painting event it is downright tiny. But that doesn't mean it can't have some bright spots. Pop over to my coverage from a nice Sunday afternoon I got to spend with my brother and nephew. Strategicon Coverage. Besides, I can't be the only one wondering what some of the local cons are like?
