Irkuck's Chaos Space Marines for sale, and more...
Posted by Mahon on Friday, October 06, 2006 (04:38:13) (1035 reads)
It had to happen: Irkuck is selling his Chaos Space Marines army. It's not just another army though! This army was awarded the title of "the best army at GTEE", where GTEE stands for Grand Tournament: Eastern Europe. So why don't you check it - it's available on eBay. In addition to this we have Przemosz.'s high elf hero, DiaCon's dwarf, followers of Nurgle, and a space marine, and two dwarfs from Romek. And did I mention Demi_morgana's skeleton cavalry and black knights? Maybe not, but they are also there....If you want to see this stuff, just visit our auctions.

Started painting again...
Posted by Muskie on Friday, October 06, 2006 (04:36:58) (1176 reads)
...after a year or so hiatus. I even went through the trouble of blogging about what colors I used and what have you. Probably of most interest to the readers of this site would be this Slaneesh Noise Marine conversion.

Hills, Forests, Wolves, and even a Dragon ;-)
Posted by Mahon on Monday, September 25, 2006 (06:25:13) (918 reads)
Just a quick information about our new auctions: This week we're selling something new: some wargaming terrain made by Demi_morgana. Hills, trees, ruins, and even a lake can be yours - just check the auctions. But that's not all, it would be too easy to end now Samuel must have found his brushes and paints because he painted a Wolf Priest for Space Wolves and a Dwarf Lord with a dragon's head. They're available now as well as his squad of converted Space Wolves. Check them out Eliash is selling two terminators: one is Lysander of Imperial Fists, the other is a Grey Knight which took the third place at Wojenny Mlot 2006 in WH40K Single Miniature category. But wait, there's still....Demon Color's Young Dragon. This is one big and colorful miniature. Don't miss it as it's a real eye-catcher! Love it or hate it but it's a must-see!

La Caja de la Muerte at Minutiae
Posted by jppatton1 on Monday, September 25, 2006 (06:21:31) (1139 reads)
Hi all,
I'm back.
Minutiae has been updated -- it's just a box (and a short story) currently, but the miniatures will follow soon. There's a brief teaser up for the first piece.
I'll be trying for one miniature a week again, just like the Mini-a-Week project. Unlike the MaW, I won't always be able to update weekly. I've got a creepy wooden box, a bunch of Games Workshop zombie sprues, and an ongoing mission to make as many disturbing combinations out of that as possible.
Comments and participation are always welcome!
thanks,
Joel

Some news from Chest of Colors
Posted by Mahon on Monday, September 11, 2006 (04:49:17) (767 reads)
As our team returned from Wojenny Mlot 2006 in Warsaw, we'll be uploading the miniatures we brought there to our galleries. This time you can see Eliash's Grey Knight and Irkuck's Frodo. Stay tuned for more
Continuing with the thread of our entries from Wojenny Mlot 2006, we have quite a few new pictures for you.Demi_morgana presents a Rhino APC made of paper. Check the pictures to see what an impressive project it is. Demon Color uploaded photos of his colorful young dragon, which took the second place in its category. He's going to sell it son, so stay tuned. Szary presents his Celeborn, winner of the LOTR category, and Inquisitor - painted by him and converted by Demi_morgana. And if you still don't have enough, more entries from other artists can be seen in our forum's showcase sections. And now you think that's all? If you do, you are wrong. Szary has a converted High Elf hero in his gallery, and when we are talking about conversions, check Samuel's new works. His rhinox rider and greater daemon of Slaanesh are pretty interesting. Well, if you want to check them, just follow the links!Have fun browsing the site...
| As for our auctions, this time Scibor is not alone with his sculpts. Even though this time his works are not only conversions but rather new minis sculpted to recreate the characters depicted on interesting artwork - like a Black Templar lord, or two dwarfs. This time Samuel joins in with his scratch built Rhinox and greater daemon of Slaanesh. But we haven't given up painting. You can still find some painted miniatures like a Sisters of Battle Canoness or a Daemon Prince of Nurgle on our auctions. Why don't you them out? |

Golden Demon Poland announced
Posted by Mahon on Thursday, September 07, 2006 (05:15:57) (1613 reads)
During the Wojenny Mlot 2006 in Warsaw, the staff announced that starting from 2007 there will be a separate edition of the Golden Demon competition, which will be held in Poland.
Not much more than that is known now, but the news comes from an official and confirmed source. The rest of news is not confirmed and includes as surprising suggestions like the one that there may be separate categories for foreigners and for Polish painters. Still, remember it's not confirmed and it will most likely turn out to be a product of somebody's imagination.
If you want to see some photos from Wojenny Mlot 2006, check the gallery.
