I'm really pleased with how he turned out. There is always a rush after completing a kit that makes you think it's the best thing I've ever done, and in this case, the buzz continues to grow.

I was thinking of Glyn the entire time I was painting this kit ... I hope that he especially likes this one.

This time it's Red Sonja as produced by the folks at Hard Hero. When I first started this kit, I thought the sculpt was kind of simple, but as she came to life, I realized how wonderfully both her strength and beauty had been captured. I hope that you like her.

New website up- www.crookedeye.net

The old website was old and busted- new site is fresh and wonderful- and very nearly done. Still working on a few bugs here and there but it's up for the world to see at www.crookedeye.net. New design makes it so much easier to update, so they should be much more frequent. Latest updates are my GD entries from Baltimore. Zach

Note: Definitely NEW FRESHNESS!! Not that Zach's eye wasn't fascinating and all, but the new digs are much nicer. Escpecially the background.

Sintricat has posted another of her stunning minis. At her current production rate, I have determined that she could paint an army in about 350 years. Still, she is obviously (thankfully) not an army painter.

Blackmoor Miniatures aka SaxonAngel, aka Angela Imrie has posted her Radagast the Brown, the silver demon winner. SUPER freehand on that guy. Nice realistic paint color scheme, but with details that pop.

MalleusMiniArt has a super super cool Griffin Warband up on the for sale page. Quite a bargain when you break it all down. Nice pics as well. The bases are inspiring too. Nice work.

Craig over at SlappingPaint.net has posted about... mmm.. 25 million pictures. Well, maybe not that many, but quite a few. I like the evil santa mini.

Mayne is Back, Jason Richards Double

OK, First off, Mayne Thiele is BACK!!!

Head over to Dragon-Miniatures.com and welcome him back! He already has a couple of minis up, including a Devourer on the For Sale page, and a St. Celesine that is just awesome. Man am I glad he decided to continue painting, and didn't venture off too far in that thing called real life.

RagingGaijin has updated the "Tale of Two Gamers", complete with army lists, pictures and a breakdown of the action. Always a fun read.

VictoriousColors.com has posted some pictures from a American Revolutionary war re-enactment day. These are pretty cool. Quite a bit of fun, especially around our Independence Day celebrations.

DragonsReach.org is updated with a completed Faces article, and a few choice quotes on the quotes page.

Anthony Karl Erdelji at PaintingClinic.com has a new articel up on painting Bile Thralls. Not only that but it is billed as the "first in a series covering most of the Cryx miniature line". Anthony is pretty much the king of tutorials, so this should be a great sereies.

Sintricat has a new Bretonnian Damsel up. More excellent freehand work, and another great scuplted base, complete with waterfall. You can also find her (for a short time I am sure!) on her For Sale page.

Jason Richards at MiniatureSpace.net has 2 new minis up. One is particularly depressing for me. Sered Templar Commander has been on my table waiting for Minspiration, and now I see Jason's, and I am just a little overwhelmed. Also don't miss the Sister of Battlke Cononesse, complete with freehand work, lighting effects, Gems, NMM Gold and a kitchen sink. (There must be a sink in there somewhere)

Hawaiian Ocean Gallery

As I mentioned a while back, Terry Hillock has made good on his promise to add an Ocean Gallery. This one focuses on Hawaii and some of the photos are just incredible. Sunsets on the ocean, underwater shots the works. So, take a little break from the mini world, and contemplate a little relaxation with fru fru drinks, cool breezes, and Tiki lounges.

Inge is back from Salute, and has posted a new Slaanesh Elf. Nice details on this one, with some freehand and nice NMM gold on the back.

Jason Richards continues with his knock your socks off pattern. A new Onyx the Prowler is up with a lot of different angles at MiniautureSpace.net.

SaintRigger has a real scenery Gem up at Network-23.net. There is a write up in the works but head over and check out the finished result of one of his projects.

There is a new WiP shot of a Sister of Battle Connoness at Painted-Miniatures.de The Wip lets you see the base coating going on, and a pinning approach to working on a mini.

OK, big big updates at Prophet-Miniatures.com. Thanks to Matt Gubser for the headsup. There is a freaking huge WiP gallery up, with some just incredible sculpts and conversions. Matt is pushing on the ceiling of the artistic side of the hobby I think. He has developed all the skills to a high level, sculpting, converting and painting, and now is really approaching it as an art form. You go Matt!

LovableLobsterProductions.com has started a new Mutant Shaman. Interesting outside in approach I think.

Gerrie Shcenk at CorvusMiniatures.cjb.net has posted a mini that he describes as one of his best ever. He has done some nice ones, and this one is great. The base is really cool, with a skull engraved in rock.

McMiniatures.cjb.net (MasterClassMiniatures by Johnny Clapp) has posted a new Impreial Guard Mad Larkin. Interesting approach to a camo, making a little uniqueness to a Cadian army.

Sean Williams has a new redesign of his site Wpminisart.com. The color scheme is pretty much the same (nice and pleasant) but everything is much more organized. I like the new look. Sean always has a lot going on, and the new sectioned out areas make it more absorbable.
